All done. Summarised the rest of the system too.

Thanks wilcrackpot! I don't have the Omnimets, probably didn't make that clear sorry. Mine are the original Metronome design with forward facing drivers. I heard them originally at the 2016 Owston and decided there and then I had to have a pair the same. When Steve started the OmniMet project earlier in the year I got the opportunity to buy the originals.

I have to say though, the OmniMets really are worth hearing, seriously.

Plenty to keep me occupied. :)
I wondered what had happened to that. We want to do something similar to incorporate the Lenco into, for 78's and mono LP's.

Yes, I really must get on with the radiogram project.
i've got the maroon rexine cloth and the fawn coloured basketweave grille cloth from retrospecialist's web site.
All I need to do is stop dithering and build the damn thing

 At least you do build things - how long have I been faffing about with that pre-amp and power amp now? I've populated some of the pre-amp circuit boards and kludged proper light bulbs into the VU meter backlighting but that's about it. I'll get there eventually.

Steve, your 'banned flatbacks', is it suitable for other drive units?,
i have a pair of PHY Type:B252-8, SP: 3000 drive units gathering dust fro 10 years or so,
was thinking if that can replace the one you use to make use of it.

Edit: just had a perusal on the Faital Pro 6PR110, seems the PHY's are that far away spec wise,
cept a bit larger at 8'inch.
