Ah, so you're not going to veneer them then?

No not until I learn how to veneer!!! Haha! I really thought they would look nice stained and varnished.

I will look into it zebbo. I want to make this pair for as little outlay as possible but would definitely consider a really nice veneer for a future pair. I will do some veneer practice beforehand though.
