Well yes, but very expensive unless you have an unoccupied church with a lead roof nearby.

Weight would be daft even in a small speaker. BUT if big enough it would be a good place to hide in if we get a nuclear war :mrgreen:

Yep I geuss ya would need a fork lift for floor stander's or a pallet truck for the bookshelfs........ :lol: :lol: :lol:

One of my early experiments in this were concrete lined speakers in the early 70's.

A long time ago,when i played bass guitar in a blues band i made a cab with an 18"goodmans speaker in a closed box with a sand filled back panel.Sounded good until i blew the pigtail leads off the cone.Anyway my next pair of Mr IPL's transmission lines will have a token steel lining,but ,by then i might have to get a man in to move them as i doubt i will have the strength by then. :character-oldtimer: :confusion-helpsign: Still amazed how much my Mini Monitors have firmed up since fitting the bulletproof vest...

Transmission lines and horns wont benefit as much if at all.
