It was the first power amp, well it was THE first NVA amp. No it is a full system amp, but that doesn't stop it being used in the toilet if you so wish. The amp is on the way to me.

By the way. I have some nice LS3's to use with that A40. I'm still using the wee JPW ML-110i....Fab little things!!

BTW it is different beast to the current A40s, PCB has different layout but basically the same circuit and it has a 300va transformer, where as the modern monoblock A40s have 100va each so 200va total.
