Just simply more energetic!

The bass is leaner but retains the tune/pitch very well.

Treble has a much brighter prominence, but otherwise very clean.

SR80's are like close clean shave blades.

I really enjoyed my HD600s I tried them up against the Grado SR325 and the only reason I went for the HDs was the comfort. Both great headphones.

HD600's are my favourite cans, Grado ? Not so much... [and yes I had RS1's].
