Not sure if the headphone socket on a Naim DAC could be described as an upgrade,i expect he just prefers the nice green light. :shifty: :whistle:

The seller doesn't know what he's doing IMO. The AP10 is a proper custom made power amp and will drive all manner of headphone loads. A beefed up line stage just doesn't quite have the output for this I think, but hey, Naim have nice boxes and the boards are built by robots these days with loads of surface mount components, so the ancient circuit looks more modern ;)


P.S. Aren't Naim DACs being flogged off used now?
