Yep Nice machine Shane....Old school.. and to be honest some of the simple 4x players sound wonderful........... But i will stick my hand up and say (if i havent already) i was never a big fan of exposure gear......To be honest it was Flat Earth part two......... :hand: ( Bit like the second world war realy )...

It did have the tendency to be a bit PA like but not as much as Naim, and it didn't impose its own sonic character on the music the way Naim does. But it was definitely one of the best amplifiers produced at that time. Do I think NVA is better, well obviously, and that is not marketing I really do believe it, but I can also except people having the opposite opinion, which is something I can't do with Naim amps.

Yes I know, but Jammy was referring to Exposure generically, my reply was to him.

Interesting post, Doc. It's amazing, there still are plenty ''Farlowe'' Exposure owners out there! So there must be something very good about these amps!!!

I'm enjoying my XV integrated....Get a good bang out of it :D

Using analogue outputs, I thought it was worse than my NAIM CDI (but this was through my Exposure/Barik system). I've now enabled it's digital out (which is a little strange because it uses a male coax connection - I think you'll find a thread about it on the old forum) and hooked it up to a Beresford/Stepped Attenuator/Exposure cable/Exposure Super VIII/LS5/Epos ES22s it sounds better.
