I don't want to re-wire the dem units if possible, so I can bring my Pioneer PL71 with Ortofon SPU Gold and as alternative a Denon 103 (standard).

Crikey! That's a long old trip.... depending when you leave on friday you may be better going M1 M62 M61 as there are long stretches of roadworks on the M6 (and it'll be crap on a friday afternoon/eve anyway....)

We can perhaps finalise kit nearer the time when we know all the attendees.

It is the first time I have been *allowed* to attend one of these Wigwam / cross forum bake-offs, so I wasn't going to miss it. My only concern is commercialising it, which I really do not want to do, I would much prefer my users to bring stuff.

I'll bring as much as I can load-up. All NVA of course. I may have missed it... but what time is the gathering on Saturday?

Just booked two nights at a Victorian hotel in Southport. Two nights DBB for £140.00 for two. Best I drive down on Friday to take it easy.

Normally start around 10, finish around 8pm (depends if my son has a rugby match on the Sunday and where it is!)

Current attendees list:

doc bunsen
colin w
kimangelis
Lindsayt
Olan
Ben
Chris
Barrington
Rob (briefly)
Aiden
Mike
Geoff
Steve

so room for a couple more if anyone else wants to come.

And kit..
seems to be interest in phono stages. My deck is MM only so if folks want an MC stage in use, someone needs to bring a deck.
I'd like to hear a decent integrated, pref with a pre-out so i can remove a few boxes
Source wise, we'll have a TT, CD and streaming/HDD - NO HI RES as my DAC is a bit old for that fancy stuff! but i can play FLAC etc

As said before, I have one (large) room so we can only have one system going at a time (although my son will undoubtedly play his drums in the adjoining room at some point so we'll get a free live concert....) so I try not to spend all day swapping kit in/out.

So if people want to start volunteering/requesting kit on here, we can have a sort out nearer the time.

I think Ben is offering an MC Phonostage
I'll see if I can get Mike to bring one as well (His creek wynsor was a great match with the rega)
Steve has a Puresound P10 I might be able to get

People can look at my signature and request me bring something. Otherwise I may just bring some TIS cables.
