As I think Lindsay, and RD himself, have already said;
If they wish to discuss RD, they should start a thread here. Then RD will be the subject.
We'll be able to critique what they say, of course, but only addressing the post, not the poster (otherwise that would be ad-hom).
Always up for a thread that deals with the facts. Might help everyone's understanding.
In the meantime I think they are doing their cause more harm than good, so don't mind, either way.

Zero equivalence. Suggesting that a complaint about bullying is just as bad as the bullying...is complete nonsense.
Akin to saying "If the guy getting bullied would only stop complaining then everything would be better"

Interesting isnt it.
It always has to be down to the recipient of the abuse to cease hostilities.
I used to deal with bullying on a regular basis and in real life it is exactly the same.
Always the victim is questioned, never the perpetrator.
Bullies are quietly respected, whilst the victim is seen as having done something to attract the wrong sort of attention.
A peculiarly British attitude and there is no chance of that changing, it is culturally entrenched in the indigenous population as perfectly illustrated in the previous comments.

Deflection is usually the first tactic deployed by bullies when their behaviour is called out. Won't wash here.

In my book, this comment

Is not conducive to effecting a peaceful cessation of hostilities.
Unless someone takes the initiative it will run for ever.
Some consider Mr Dunn to be the bully, so where does that leave us ?
To be honest, I don't really care, It's not my fight, but at least two forums would be much more peaceful if the fight was suspended.

Whether SteveTheShadow's comment is conducive to reconciliation, or not, is irrelevant. A complaint about bullying is in no way equivalent to the bullying.
Meaningful changes in relationships only come from understanding. Look at RD's most recent comments about David at MCRU for a clear and relevant example of this.
If some consider RD to be a bully (or an ass, or a twat, or whatever) they can start a thread here to discuss the facts. Anyone will be able to critique what they say, of course, but only addressing the post, not the poster (otherwise that would be ad-hom).
It is possible, as a result, that other forums' threads would be less likely to go off-subject...assuming that all participants can maintain that discipline.
