Snide bastard. He logged off and swore not to return to Audio Talk. I pulled out firstly because the event didn't have much left in it for that sort of journey 8 hours driving and over £100 of petrol. Then I came down with a bug so was out anyway. I noticed firey bum had logged back in and waited for posts, no posts. So he obviously arranged to attend by PM and obviously told them not to tell me. I would bet this was set up with MCRU because I think Nick would have told me. I would have tried to get out of my death bed to finally pin that fraud down.

Sorry you missed that one Doc, I see it was him that turned up after previously stating he wouldn't. A little bit harsh on MCRU on the AT thread, I know you don't agree with dealers but he was good enough to give up his time and dem room for the event and according to what I've read everyone enjoyed themselves.

I have been watching him for years, since he started nearly 10 years ago, there is always a motive. For him this was just a scam to promote himself, there is never any other reason for him doing things. Long term watchers of him know it, there were scams and set up shills and the full paraphernalia of bad on line marketing that even Fireybum doesn't approach.

Do a search on the forums, especially AoS for SLIC, mostly done by Effem his *employed* shill, he was really caught out with this one, and in the end it got him banned from AoS (one of the few good things Marco has ever done). He is a retailer, a slurper, and one of the worst as he grooms genuine DIYers and commercialises them and pollutes them, as with Dom and Nick.

I thought this was different so I gave him the benefit of the doubt - I was wrong!!

His avatar at AoS would irritatingly rotate to draw you to his spamming and his shills. Anything to draw attention to himself, like this. Note what the pictures of it are designed to convey and that he took them.

MCRU seems to get all my stick, that is only because he sticks himself in front of my face, but all Hi-Fi retailers are nearly as bad. If you want to part with loads of money and end up nowhere then go and buy from this man, he is an arse of the first water.

My major irritation is I want these people to die out, and the likes of Dom and Nick to sell direct at non rip-off prices. But as long as he controls them there will be the rip-off. It is so frustrating that people with new ideas and products don't sell direct and get conned by these people, which then means their customers are conned.

If I sold through MCRU my products would be OVER double the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is his slurp, that is what goes in his pocket for nothing in return.

Can't sleep, this bug is doing me in.

I know he was most probably showing off his new premises, and shills with the SLIC cables, but I have met him a couple of times and he came across as down to earth. I have in the past ordered a couple of DIY power cables from him, one I still use today. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I think on this occasion it would be best to give him the benefit of the doubt. Don't forget if, perfumes, clothes furniture ect. were sold direct from the manufacturer you would save yourself 50%.
I can't sleep either. :-?

He is a salesman, it is his training to slime bag you.

Just because there are other rip-off product it doesn't make ours good. Why can't we be like computers.

I will just plough my lone furrow, and continue to detest retailers as a waste of space. YES pre internet they were needed, now no one needs them apart from a stupid way to burn money.

Why do you think he is on Audio Talk, because there are people with ideas and products who can be groomed to make him money

Looking at the pictures on AT the speakers are small for a room that size. Surly he would have had something more appropriate.

Sonore OpticalRendu, Chord Mscaler & Qutest, Sbooster PSs

DH Labs ethernet, BNC & USB cables, Lindy cat 6 US ethernet cable

Second System
NVA P20/ A20, Cubettes, LS3, SSP, SC
Sonore MicroRendu, Chord Mojo 2 MCRU PSs, AQ Carbon USB cable & JB FMJ

Bigger speakers would hide some of his poster in the photo - get your priorities right
