You're lucky it wasn't a haiku, or a sonnet.

OK only 3 days to go, decisions to be made as to what to take. I have decided to keep it simple as it is just me doing it. So just my Sony CD player (not monstrous DAC) as it is just too much hassle the set up a good record player system. Speaker will be Cube3, Cubette, Doc Mod B&W. Amps will be P20/A20 starter system, AP20 and AP50 for variation if someone wants to here them but the point is to show how good the starter system is. Cable., everything I have on hand, hopefully from SC to Statement, but not all. BMU.

This is a good gig and definitely more worth going to than Bristol or Scalford. It is a bit of an old git and valve fest though   See you in the Creche.

Well when I arrived and looked at the room I said "Oh feck it", an almost square box with no softness anywhere, bright and echoic with 12 - 15ft high ceiling. As I predicted before I started first up the Cubettes sounded lost and horrible, so didn't bother with the Cube 3s and settled on the B&W Doc Mods as the least of the evils. As the day went on I got used to it all, and everyone who commented said it sounded great with the only negative comment of "the room is a little bright isn't it", so not a disaster and I put up with it. Big room so I just ran the AP50 all day long.

Blimey I am struggling to remember things to do in Feb let alone April. I promise I will do it if I can.

Pleased some attendees realised the room was not perfect, although a shame you could not dem the cubes and cubettes.

The small ones can't project onto 15ft high ceilings, Cube 1 upward would manage it. So we had point and squirt.
