Well as you know Lindsay, some people will go to great lengths to justify their choice in hifi land. The forum's are full of it and quite frankly it is boring, childish and not worth wasting the time reading.

I would likely have much preferred your speakers going on my experiences with speakers over the lasy year and a half. As long as you are happy then that is all that counts.

What's mildly amusing is that lpv is now saying that a short bake-off (6 hours) isn't enough for him to properly evaluate the sound of a system. That he needs to live with it at home in order to properly evaluate it.

And yet 6 weeks before the EV vs AVI vs ATC bake-off there was an AVI vs ATC bake-off

following which lpv gave his AVI's the most glowing post-bake-off write up.

So when he wins a bake-off, a short one is all that's needed for him to make his mind up.
But when he loses he's unsure and would require more time in order to declare a clear winner? :lol:
