Generally there are two types of bake-off. Those where you invite members around to listen to your system and bring interesting music, and there are those where you want to compare specific parts of your system with other options. These latter ones can be general or specific, like I have done two turntable ones and one computer audio one (how I discovered Jason's beast which has become the TFS).

Food (BBQ ), booze are of course optional, good times and good company are not

Start a thread saying town you live in and theme and take it from there.

We need to promote the above. Who wants to start the ball rolling. START A THREAD 1/ give date and time, 2/ give location (only give address to visitors), 3/ give a general idea of what you have and what you would like to try, but be open to alternatives.
