But not good for learning English as she is spoke. Yer can lurn sum souf Londn cockney, but for proscribed BBC English it used to best to follow the announcers and news readers.

I don't think there is any language in the world with so many nuanced local accents as English.

There is just as many different accents as people of different nations who speak English. And nowadays you can meet people speaking english in almost every place in the world.

Yes, that would be perfect, I'm just tired of media feeding us with bullshit and propaganda. To know what's going on I read independent people' blogs as they don't get payed for it.

Singapore is fun, they have their own English that is just slightly different they call Singlish, it is really nice. The funniest is pidgin English spoken in Papua New Guinea and some other islands. You cannot understand a word, and it has a very much smaller dictionary of words and they mix them up to mean things. For example a "silence" notice in a library is "talky-talky no can" Jamaican patois is fun and next to impossible to understand as English, and is largely made up of cuss words. And has changed, I partly knew the old version (pre rap), pussy rass seed, yer bumbour toil, cha man! but the new one is another language again.
