Re: Let's see some of your favorite hard rock...

Any fans of Rory?
Picked this up recently and love it. Especially love "It's Happened Before, It'll Happen Again". Never knew Rory could play sax.

[quote="slinger"]I've tried to pick some of my less obvious albums

Cool post slinger. I have the Leafhound, Jerusalem, Three Man Army and Blues Creation. I also have some Montrose & Groundhogs albums. Need that Gun album though.

Let's see some of your favorite hard rock...

I'll start with Scorpions first. Unlike their later arena metal. Michael Schenker on guitar is killer!

Re: Decision...NVA Phono or amp?

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess it's a toss up which one I do first. Antonio, you are probably right, the Audiomat phono is probably the weaker link. I certainly have not been unhappy with the Modwright amp. But hearing what my lowly AP10 sounds like driving the Coincidents has my mouth waterin...

Decision...NVA Phono or amp?

Hi guys, I am considering making some changes to my system and was wondering what you guys suggest. I currently am using an Audiomat Phono 1 in MC mode with an Ortofon Jubilee LOMC. My amp is a Modwright KWA 100SE. My preamp is a passive Bent Audio TAP-X which uses an Intact Audio Autoformer made by...

Re: Is Prog a bunch of self indulgent nonsense

There are many pieces of music by King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, Camel, Caravan, PFM, Jethro Tull, etc that move me. To some who fail to appreciate more complex music, they may call it self indulgent nonsense. But I just call it music that I enjoy...labels be damned. The same reason that I enjoy music ...
