Cube speaker room positioning.
Hello All. I'm expecting delivery of a pair of cube2's in the next couple of weeks and would appreciate some tips or no-no's on room positioning. The living room is about 6m x 4.5m, and I listen across the short axis. Set-up is Rega Brio CD, with NVA pre-power amplification and cables throughout. I'...

Re: LS3
For what it's worth... I've just sold a set of LS6 cables and kept my LS3's. I can't explain why, but I prefer them over the LS6's. I have a reasonably sized living room and good NVA gear..... Don't know why, but the 'lesser' cables suit me fine. I listen to a very varied diet of music from Radiohea...

Re: NVA Reviews
Been settling-down with my AP10H a lot recently given my (downstairs) neighbours and their offspring have returned from holibags. Sounded sort-of well, fine for a while until I got out side a nice Chenin Blanc one evening and went to bed without switching off. Following day was a revelation. Said of...

Re: Quick comments and thoughts on SC vs. SSC
I used to build my own sound-pipes, bought the raw aerospace tech. control cable lengths from RS. Easy to build but a sod to install. Just swapped over from SC's to SSC's and the difference was quite marked. I did the usual swapping back-and-forth, and came to the conclusion the SSC was allowing mor...

Re: NVA A70 Mk2 review
Hello
Want to bi-amp my B&W bookshelf (Nautilus) monitors. I have now a pair of A40's which are just fine.
Need I get another pair of A40's or better to have (say) a pair of A70's for the lower registers and the A40's for the tweeters?
Can anyone help?
Kim

Re: NVA AP10P
I had an AP10P for just over a week. I returned it and got a passive unit to use with a pair of A40's I'd got 2nd-hand. Whilst I had it I was really impressed. It was a lot better than my older Audiolab 8000a. Better in the sense that I enjoyed listening more. Neutral and detailed I suppose. For the...
