I think DQ is being clear that he wants an improvement rather than a difference. You might have learnt that on an earlier thread ;)

Re: BMU ebay

Well spotted ,don't own one so had no reference. Neither did I realize that DC buzz could be/was a problem. Just thought it might interest some one. Buzz is a problem in areas with DC on the mains. Re: Panzerholz, magic or myth.

My Garrard and Lenco plinths are a laminate mix of chipboard and mdf. Not very fashionable but they seem to sound as good (though, slightly different) to the slate and birch ply plinths I've heard on 401s. I could happily live with any of them.

Not heard a Panzerholz plinth.

New LSTS speaker cable & LS1 renamed LST

We've had a few enquiries for a silver based cable for bi-amping tweeters. Based on the LS1 (which we currently recommend for bi-amping tweeters), we have launched LSTS (Low Series Tweeter Silver). I've been listening to it at home in conjunction with LS7 to my bass / midrange units. It's an addicti...

Re: AP30

Using Ls1 at the moment + ssc interconnectors. ime the LS7 will give you more weight, texture, transparency. The cost of the silver base wires for LS7 has just jumped up AGAIN (they are 30% more expensive than this time last year!!) and one set takes a whole day to make, so the current brand new pr...
