I was lucky enough to see Rush live back in 1980. Permanent Waves had just come out and they were stunningly good to my teenager's ears. They were my first BIG band and I was rather star struck by the whole thing. I think I drove my parents mad by playing my Rush records over and over again. RIP.

I really enjoyed Fringe. It was on Netflix for ages, I think I watched the entire series at least twice.

Richard explained the issues with remote controls when I met him and I fully understand why he didn't want to go down that route. It would be ridiculous to compromise any piece of equipment for the sake of convenience, I only asked him as I have mobility problems and a remote volume would be handy. ...

Liking this a lot. With you being a drummer and myself a bass player I think this sort of music appeals to the rhythmic side of us. It was listening to Average White Band and later Level 42 that got me into slap bass, I'm no Mark King but it's very satisfying getting that groove going.

If you like a good long read, really involving, try the Matthew Shardlake novels by C.J. Sansom. If you fancy something lighter the Louie Knight books by Malcolm Pryce are quite funny, in a quirky way.
