Re: Cassettes are Back !!!!
I've bought 2 cassettes recently, 1 in a charity shop and 1 from ebay. Wings - Band On The Run Musical Youth - Youth of Today The Musical Youth cassette sound better to me than either of the vinyl copies that I used to have. I can live with some hiss but vinyl pops a clicks are a no no for me. It di...

Re: AP10H and inline attenuators
My experience is that you would also get a reduction in sound quality too. If I remember correctly they are just a resistor inside an in/out Phono plug. You might be better with something like the P20 between source and AP10H from sound quality perspective.

Re: Cubes - question.
I find the main difference as you go up the Cube range as an increase of scale, with the higher models giving a fuller sound and the better tweeter improves the treble over the Cubettes as well. With my NVA amp I find it an advantage that the Cubes require the volume control at my usual listening le...

Re: The future of NVA
I don't think Richard made much, if anything at all on the introductory models and the AP20 was the introduction before the A20/P20 combination was developed. He had to increase the price of the AP20 to make money on it so it would be difficult to do much with these, although he would add a headphon...

Re: The future of NVA
Congratulations and thank you Paul and Tomasz for keeping NVA going and retaining Doc's ethos and legacy. I'm looking forward to further anouncements.
Re: Break-in
Sorry to hear about this. While the financial side is bad I hope that you and your family are ok, the feeling of intrusion and being unsafe are usually worse than the loss of property.

Re: NEBO 10 - 27th July
I already have arrangements made for that date otherwise I might have considered it. I did attend aprevious NEBO, I think it was number 8 in Seaton Carew. The one where they couldn't set up the Phono 2, there was an early version of the Cubettes and the P50 was ranked as the lowest performing Pre th...

Re: Bought another CD player
I've had an S1 for a while but when I first got it I preferred my Nad DVD player and the Sony got put away. But last week I settled on the S1 in my headphone set up after trying a few players. I am really enjoying it and have spent more time listening on headphones than I have done for months, the S...

Re: Richard Dunn
Having been unable to attend the funeral, hopefully following my PM to him, Savvy was able to pass on my condolences. If not I hope Nadia is encouraged and comforted by the messages of support. My only contact with Richard was through the forum and via a few phone calls when I had a some issues wit...
