Re: DC blocker
Thanks Stu  I just wondered if there were and SQ advantages to be had from the different layouts, but as Doc would have advised the best way to find out is to try it. I also searched and found the BMU bandits thread and it seems that a higher value doesn't seem to cause any detrimental effect ...

DC blocker
Although I'm really happy with my BMU I really need to stop it's occasional buzzing. The ATL DC blocker has been recommended https://www.atlhifi.com/shop/fully-assembled-devices/dc-blocker-trap-filter-assembled-in-case/ Is there any/much theoretical advantage to getting the 2V version or will the 1....

Re: DAC to the Future
I have a couple of the Oxypure OXYA 4801 cables available if anyone is interested. I prefer to use TIS as a digital cable over the Profigold but the price difference is significant.
I do wonder though how the Beresford cables would perform as a digital cable and also as a stereo pair.

Re: NVA Quiz!
This one is definitely more difficult Paul.
I can't see that it would be a, b or c bearing in mind that the higher the AWG number the thinner the gauge of wire, they all seem too thin. So I will go for d, 9.

Re: Music we listen to

Mostly rock, jazz, funk, disco, pop, electronic and little bits of country, blues, prog, folk and classical. Instrumental music is as important to me as that with vocals. But sorry i can ...

Re: Music we listen to
My parents didn't have a record player or radio in the house so my early music experiences were either from the radio on car journeys or from TV. I had to wait until I was in my teens before I saved up £5 to buy a dansette from an older lad in the swimming club who wanted to buy a proper stereo. The...
