Re: NVA Cubix

I fed them a different food tonight. I dug out some vinyl. Some Bowie, some Nirvana, some Stones. I still think I may be able to make a front back adjustment but the sound stage was right there all the instruments nicely focussed and sounding more like they are in the room (Nirvana 'In Utero' is eit...

Re: Best DAC sub £300

Dear Selby, I'm beginning to think that you actually enjoy shopping more than listening to music. Re: NVA Cubix

*ALL* speaker need this intervention, it is just this one shows up the potential of change far more, and in the end should be far more satisfying because of it. Re: NVA Cubix

Not had much time last weekend. I'm still playing with the 'focus' bit. I guess I'm too used to NVA products doing this without any user intervention.

My first 'real' hi-fi amp (actually a receiver) was a Heathkit. I nearly went blind soldering it and then it wouldn't work. I had one dry joint and a ...

A80s LS6 ES22 sounded better to me than A80s plus A70s plus LS5 into ES22s. From which I conclude that ES22s a quite revealing.

Mmm. It's the way she seems to be breathing into your ear when she's singing. As Jack Nicholson's Joker said to Michael Keaton's Batman, "Sure puts steam in a man's strides."
