Re: NVA and the remote volume control convenience
OK thanks. I just read somewhere that running long interconnects from a Passive Pre is not a good idea.

Re: Linear PSU recommendation (perhaps from China)?
Sorry - I believe this is the correct link:
https://support.auralic.com/hc/en-us/ar ... ower-Input
It is 16V in 1A as standard.
The lowest acceptable input voltage is 14V(1.2A) and the maximum is 18V(1A).

Linear PSU recommendation (perhaps from China)?
When enquiring about using a digital volume control in front of an NVA passive pre (I've ordered the NVA P50sa btw) - I thought I would make the most of my Auralic Mini - but Auralic's upgraded PSU is expensive. Is there a Chinese (or other) cheaper alternative that does the job just as well do you ...

Re: NVA and the remote volume control convenience
If using an NVA passive pre - is there a limitation on the length of the interconnect to the power amps (when using your cables of course)?

Re: Speakers that don't require a listener sweet spot.
I've never heard the Quad ESL 57's in my room, but but various owners have said that they have unrivalled transient response. The few micron thick membrane has already played the note while the cone on a Moving coil driver is still thinking about making a move! The next best thing I can think of wit...

Re: NVA and the remote volume control convenience
I will probs be getting one then before March comes to an end! I figured that going for the most expensive whilst discounted was the sensible option - I also wanted the A20 too but I’m pushing the pennies a tad too far this Month! I hope I’ve made the right decision based on my logic. The P50sa woul...

Re: NVA and the remote volume control convenience
Ok - can I ask if the P50sa will work ok with most power amps - and a sprinkling of vintage like the Quad 405 ?

Re: NVA and the remote volume control convenience
I do have some rothwell attenuators and a -11dB kimber interconnect if that’s what you mean.
Any recommendations for a really good sounding streamer and / or DAC with variable volume?
