If checking hires vs redbook you have to start with the hires master and down sample to ensure an identical master for the redbook version. Otherwise you could be hearing different mastering. Anything beyond a specification and materials list in an advert is hyperbole, including descriptions of the sound. Nva pricing structure would fall into this category if we're being strict.

Buy the sjostrom audio dc blocker, the 6 cap version. Better than all the small units, 16 amp and 8v of dc cleaning power. Perfect for bigger bmu, have two friends using it on 1500va and a 3kva unit.
