Your orchids look like Dactylorhiza fuchsii the Common spotted orchid which is native throughout Britain. I have some growing in my garden and they are quite a delight.

Yes I owned that exact Tresham System in preference to anything built by Naim back in the day although I can't honestly remember exactly when it was, maybe late 70's or early 80's my mind plays tricks these days. I seem to remember it was known back then as the Tresham System 1.

I am honestly not sure Colin if my recollection is right I seem to remember them being shiney so I guess steel of some description. I will have a look tomorrow!
