Re: NVA Passive preamp output voltage

This will be used exclusively with digital sources btw with high outputs, so from a gain perspective I think it should work and thanks to @Karatestu for your feedback

Re: NVA Passive preamp output voltage

Actually this application is a bit different. I have a spare P50 amplifier that is going to be used in an experiment with a Naim Nap160 - which has been modified slightly to accept a standard preamp via RCA’s. Back in the day the Nap160 was by far my favourite Naim amplifier and it would be nice to ...

Re: NVA Passive preamp output voltage

If I connected a source with a 2.1V output into an NVA P50 preamp with a 10k volume pot, what would be the resulting voltage output into the power amp? Also, would the output be ok into a power amp with a 20k input impedance- in terms of gain / volume etc? Thanks in advance The volume pot is merely...

Re: Bloody weather

Well we're fucked then, those in a position to help ignore the situation. Presenting the problem as one of individual action is bollocks. On the edge of no return. Yes, absolutely, the human race needs to see itself as children of the universe in order to tackle the big issues ( to paraphrase Richa...

Re: Bloody weather

We don't have a divine right to life on earth and people of my generation will be dead before anything alarming happens. Let's hope the youth get thier act together According to many researchers in this area, the situation can’t wait for the next generation to “sort out” There are many academic stu...

Re: Bloody weather

Climate change is the real issue. I have customers in Sweden that say the permafrost has virtually gone in the north of the country. So many other similar examples around the globe

Re: Southgate is a shit manager

I agree with the premise that Southgate is not a top drawer football manager - however he seems to be a decent bloke with very good image and media management. Italy were the better team in the final and were the first top team that England had faced in the competition. Italy had to beat Belgium and...

Last week I thought I'd give Audirvana a go using their 30day free trial so down loaded their app. Once down loaded you come to 4 options, I pressed Free Trial only to receive a message, Your Free Trial has Ended. What do I do now, I asked the question on the Community and asked the question about ...

Re: Effects pedals stuff, might interest guitarists.

I've got physical keyboards, and I run Ableton Live studio, so I'm well and truly catered for as far as organs/pianos/synths are concerned. I can even recreate decent-sounding guitars via VST plugins, I just don't want to give up the guitar, which is my "real" instrument, if I can possibl...
