Oh shit, you've caught me on the hop now!
What the hell, yes please, I can transfer the extra £360 over now and should get the amps with the next day courier on Tuesday if that's good for you.
Cheers.

Re: What constitutes a demanding load for A80's
So Doc, how long would it take to upgrade from Mk1 to Mk2 A80's if the Logans work in my room ? (as I would need to send mine back straight away as I can't afford to stump up £1200).

Re: Solid floors and speaker support.
Whatever you do don't use the Atacama spike cups/protectors. They have a rubber insert that sits on the floor and when I eventually moved my speakers they had left completely indelible brown rings on my flooring!

The plan is to try them with my Anatek amps which will tell me if they will work at all in my listening environment and if things look good I'll be upgrading my Mk1 A80's to a pair of Mk2's !!! I think I'm losing the p...

Re: What constitutes a demanding load for A80's
I'm finding them bloody lovely, the only problem is that with every NVA purchase raising the bar a bit further it's kick started a bit of a spending frenzy! Would dearly love to hear those Martin Logans with the A80's but too risky with the Mk1 amps!

Re: On/Off Switch - Front Light
Yes, we had a power cut the other night while listening to the hi-fi but it was probably 20 seconds or so before we realised that that's what had happened as the music started breaking up! My TT has a battery PSU.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: Nope
The light will stay on for a while when you switch off though.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping, it's just that ML's are always described as being a bit power hungry, although these are only babies.
