Just checked out Ferrite rings on the Maplins website, how would you advise positioning them if I were to try some?Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote:Mains problem or airborne interference that has now stopped. Try some ferrite rings.

Re: A60 mk2 Power Amp
OK. I thought it might be mains or the NAS which is about a metre away from the amp (not ideal I know)
I know you advise keeping the power amps switched on, but from now on I may just leave it on when I know I will be using it - say over a weekend etc.

Re: A60 mk2 Power Amp
I switched the amp off last night before going to bed - I normally leave it on - because there was a noticeable hum/light buzzing noise coming through the speakers.
Tonight I have switched it back on with the preamp still off and it is pretty much silent.....?

Re: A60 mk2 Power Amp
Really enjoying the sound of the A60mk2.
Question: Is it normal for these Amps to have a slight hum through the speakers when not being used and left switched on ?
(Pre-amp is switched off)

Re: Footy
The "Big" moniker suits the England manager so it's a shame that Big Sam has screwed up. The FA should remain consistent in their selection process though. So how about "Big" Phil Scolari perhaps or my personal favourite The "Big" Figure....

Well you voted for the demise of the Labour party, and I will eat your PT at Scalford (to quote you) if they win the next general election. History shows that a party that moves to the extremes be it left or right will never win a general election. Without the middle ground (which they have now los...
