Despite Linydsey's recommendation , I resisted the temptation to use my tongue ( it's 45 volts ) but the tool did as advertised though it took longer than 3 seconds and I successfully fitted the fm300a boards . Today , im feeling rather foolish . A capacitor discharge tool as arrived and I'm wondering why I haven't had one sooner . It would have saved a fortune in blown boards .

Contact glue sealed the carbon fibre in place , the driver isn't heavy and dome midranges have low velocity moving mass so it should be enough to hold it in place .
When the cabinets are complete , I am going to nick an idea from Sonus Faber and cover the baffle in faux leather .

The midrange opening was to wide , so a piece of carbon fibre was used with the appropriate circle cut into . Cutting a circle in cf is bloody hard .
