Re: Opinions on how the Government have handled the coronavirus outbreak
Are care homes not all under private management these days if so the individual companies who own them have to take some form of responsibility for their procedures. As a side note the only thing more untrustworthy than a politician is a journalist. Don't believe everything you read.

Re: What's your opinion on room correction?
Being in various bsnds I have been around recording and rehearsal studios and venues for the best part of 40 years as a performer and spectator. No matter the music system or the room everything is a compromise and approximation of real live music. Boomtown Rats . What a totally underrated band I lo...

Re: What's your opinion on room correction?
What we hear from our music in our rooms is an approximation of real instruments and voices they will never sound like the real thing. Not even close. What we strive for is how good that approximation is. If room correction helps get you there then more power to it but remember it's all subjective.

Re: Coronavirus restrictions: are they legal
Baroness (Shami) Chakrabarti, CBE, barrister, human rights activist. ex-director of Liberty and current shadow Attorney General was on telly earlier. Her opinion is that there are probably very few people in this country who are more pro-human rights/civil rights than her, and her advice is to toe ...

Re: Coronavirus restrictions: are they legal
You will find that the same people bleating on about civil liberty and human rights will be the loudest voices condemning the Government for not doing enough if the death toll reaches the thousands per day.

Re: Coronavirus restrictions: are they legal
Lets get some perspective. Influenza has a contagion pattern of 1➡1➡1➡1➡1 Covid19's contagion pattern is 1➡3➡9➡27➡81 so even in just 4 steps we have 121 people infected compared to 5 with influenza. With a mortality rate amywhere between 20 amd 40 times that of influenza you can see why extreme meas...

Re: Coronavirus restrictions: are they legal
Comparisons to the Bush admin and Nazi Germany. Give us a break. The Government have to exercise extreme measures to save lives. Simple. I'm all for human rights but in these circumstances human life takes priority over all else. Including your or anyone elses freedom to go to the pub cinema theatre...

Re: Coronavirus restrictions: are they legal
I don't care if they are legal or not. Unless you have been living under a rock and not seen the damage this virus is doing if allowed to spread quickly unchecked. Why would you even question the legality? This is to prevent the NHS being overwhelmed and being unable to cope with a huge spike of inf...
