There's good and bad in everything. There's not much you can do about it so just accept it and get on with whatever floats your boat. If that's bleating about what goes on in other forums then that's ok by me 🙂

I've never tried an Empire cartridge. Well no that's not exactly true. There is one on the Empire arm that I removed from my turntable. I played a few sides of some unloved records before replacing it with a slightly less clunky Notts Spacearm. Can't say I was impressed though someone did remark tha...

I have quite a few turntables in my possession. Nothing really special but I do like my Empire 598. I have a couple of Sondeks. They may be considered iconic but they're nothing to shout about imo.

I find all this digital stuff hard to get to grips with so I prefer to leave it and carry on with my CDs and records. At least when I buy CDs and records the artist gets their dues.

It looks OK to me Steve but it needs a 0 volt link across the two caps like Lurcher said and from that link a 0 volt wire taking to each amp board.
