There's an unlabelled input/output at the back of my AP80 above the source inputs. Is this a direct input? A volume controlled output? What's more likely?

No, I'm definitely not allowing myself any more amps. Besides I quite like the single box nature of the integrated amp, it saves on interconnects if nothing else!

Well it's a step up in sound from my AP70, but that could be the extra power supplies, the stepped attenuator, the LS5 or any combination. I'd guess mostly the LS5 though.
