Re: Opinions on how the Government have handled the coronavirus outbreak
It would appear thatj the "expert scientific opinion" the Government received during the early stages, when Johnsn was a part time PM, might well have come from Cummings. I can't believe experts can get it so wrong, all the more so as what was happening in Italy was so widely reported. Thi...

Re: How will covid19 (and brexit) affect your future finances ?
<r>I am better off financially wit no holidays, pubs, racing, concerts, eating out, petrol expenditue, extended MOT, fishing and Sky Sports. Can't see things changing much for me when restrictions replace the lock down. Being retired I am used to being home a lot, but not anything like this much. Th...

Re: Opinions on how the Government have handled the coronavirus outbreak
It will be 'interesting' to see Sweden's figures 3 or 4 weeks from now... And interesting to see the figures on people dying earlier than they otherwise would have done over the next 50 years as a partial result of them living in relative poverty due to hardship brought about by economy wrecking go...

Re: Opinions on how the Government have handled the coronavirus outbreak
Herd immunity and economic damage are important factors. I'd like to know what advise caused them to change their minds. We've still got 20,000 dead currently and no mingling and have borrowed the cost of hs2 bailing people out. I would like to see the minutes of the SAGE meetings. I think 30,000 d...

Re: Clearlight Audio RDC cones etc.
I used cones for the speakers in by second system before getting Cubettes. I followed RD's advice and got washing machines anti vibration pads to support them as a chest of draws is not the ideal platform. The speakers in my main system have always been on solid stands and I use Bluetac to stabalise...

Re: Opinions on how the Government have handled the coronavirus outbreak
Sweden has fewer deaths per head of population than the UK and they haven't had an economy wrecking lockdown. I can't find any reason to criticise the Swedish Governemnt over their handling of Coronavirus. It is my understwnding that Sweden banned mass gatherings early on. Here we had all the Gover...
