... Thanks for the info Stu, a nice review overall. It looks like I need to reappraise my TIS now that I am happy with my CDP. It currently has SSP mk2 connecting it to the amp which I am very happy with but in order to use the TIS some rearranging would be needed as it is shorter than the SSP ...

Congrats on the successful sales hump, took all the will power in the world to resist hitting on that AP70,
just settled on some LS3 cables (was teetering on LS5's) to go with my stashed SSP's.

Just pulled the trigger on some LS3 and SSP for digital duties, rude not to at those prices! Wish I was in the market for more, some great bargains for the big spenders, well done Doc.

... and it is a keeper. I will write a review after some extended listening. Will also update my review of the Phono 1 now it is connected to SSP Mk2.

... NVA developments, he has now largely disappeared off forums sadly. He said the same, TIS makes more difference on digital than analogue. Up from SSP analogue is icing on the cake, digital is fundamental change. Analogue changes from SC to SSC and then to SSP are more fundamental.
