Re: The Audio Standard Forum.
I've to been to more inspiring events. It wasn't packed with hard sell by any stretch. That phonostage of Alans was actually very good. Bit hard to separate the various contributions in a mix of unfamiliar kit though.

Re: (in)FAMOUS SLURPS
Some people are old, infirm, with poor eyesight, own older gear that could probably do with a touch up. To be honest it doesn't seem excessive.
Though I've still yet to hear/see anyone remove/refit a rega bearing without scraping it

Re: PFM
Richard, I'm sure we'll get one in front of you some time soon. Even if via a proxy.
Nick, Hudds is just up the road. I'm at Vinyl tap every other month so I;m sure we can arrange something. I'm keen to hear your big fella as well.

Re: PFM
Disregarding the obvious then Si, why did you join HFS if you have no interest in NVA? Alfi I said, "I 'had' (paste tense) no interest in the gear." Now I have a modicum of interest in the gear. There's more to HFS than just wanting to buy Richard's kit. It's the one remaining place that actively s...

Re: PFM
It definitely wasn't me Richard. As I said I've never spoken a single word to you in person. Track back to 2010 in your head. You've just been banned from loads of websites, I've contributed heavily to your ban on PFM. Why would I bother talking to you. I didn't like you, I had no interest in your g...

Re: The Audio Standard Forum.
It doesn't start until 3pm, plenty of spare time to spend wasting hours queuing up for overpriced reissues and contrived limited editions. RSD is just another slurp.

Re: PFM
Richard, I'm not sure who you had a conversation with at Whittlebury, It certainly wasn't me. I've never spoken a single word to you. Ever. Perhaps you're mixing me up with kiteshopdave who came with Mark and I that day. This often happens as Dave and Mark tend to walk the shows together and Mark's ...

Re: PFM
It never for one second occurred to me to consider whether you would recognise me or not at Whittlebury, why would I possibly care? "Next to Nil", yeh i figure less than 20 minutes total listening time, on a handful of occasions, in unfamiliar systems, spaced out over 10 years probably counts as nex...

Re: Silly Hi-Fi Dealers.
I find his singing and the way he touches that rather off-putting, it's just creepy.

Re: PFM
I'm still none the wiser, just come out and say it. I undertstand your professional aversion to going on the record.
