Anyone work HF? I am thinking about studying for the Foundation licence; no idea where I'll put the antenna if I pass. It'll have to be a vertical I suppose which kind of sucks - my wife would divorce me if I put a mast and multi-element in the garden :cry: I'm G1EKM However not actve at the moment...

Thats a great bit if history... the Sinclair calcukator kit! kept mine until about 10 years ago until it stopped working. Always looked like I assembled it :oops:

I have a few Bluesound bits of hardware / speakers and have been listening to MQA for a while now but had to purchase albums and very happy with what I have been hearing.

Over 500 albums now on Tidal and at no additional cost on the hifi sub.

I glad I did not buy one, I had read that the audio out quality was not good which is why I held off until a few reviews / reports surfaced.

However I am hoping for Home Automation and other voice control using a Dot.

Its the same with a groundplane earth when using Ham Radio in a car, insulated from the road by the tyres but still adequate to make contact 1,000s on miles away on the HF frequencies.
