For me source has to be lossless or your compromising the whole chain A source which is not lossless makes no sense. A good point is made in the video about th...

18 comments on Facebook, several more here... and you're the first to ask what it actually is
Put me out of my misery please as it looks like a P90 (led for phono board) or integrated black box series which are no longer.

Re: CD Transport

One charity shop (near me) is selling CDs @ 10 for £1. So it's cheap to build up a sizable collection. And, the range of titles is surprisingly broad, not just "old git" music. In the past I have purchased "job lots" of CDs from Ebay sellers, the last few were mainly class...

Re: Optimal internal speaker cabling for nva amps

Many moons ago I wired up some Fostex horns with LS5 which the Doc had made for me unterminated but soldered. It was not fun fitting it in and wished at the time I had gone for something a bit thinner.

Re: Bookshelf speakers with bass

We have a run of units flush against the wall but there is a gap on the left hand side where a sub will fit and possibly at the end of one sofa.

Re: Bookshelf speakers with bass

A subwoofer… absolutely, many thanks as I do love the little Q’s.

Just a case of finding a spot for it…

Many thanks

Bookshelf speakers with bass

I know bookshelve speakers and bass are generally a compromise but is there anything that I can pickup from my local Richer Sounds that have a reasonable about of bass? Currently have a pair of Q Acoustic 3010’s and they are sublime in all regards except bass, using a test tone generator the lowest ...

Re: Accident Prone

Get well soon, my daughter suffers from regular knee dislocation and found that ice packs / keeping it cool really helps quicken the healing as well as keep moving without putting any strain / weight on.

The good news is each time you do it it’s less painful

Minimalistic as possible for me so this is “looking good”. The pointer does actually work, a bit like a clock with no markers or numbers but you still know the time.

If only I had the cash.
