211s take half an hour to come on song. I'm surprised that my Crown PSA2 being solid state takes as long as it does, a good fifteen minutes. Of course any one or all of my source components could be to blame. I'm not bothered though as its all part of the game.

In fact "Chopsaw" was up here all day yesterday for a music session and he is quite sensitive to "noise" and never mentioned it so it must now be quiet. That's a nice turntable. I have a Kenwood idler turntable that also has tubes fitted to oil the motor bearings. A great idea.

That’s what I’ve done with my Naim CD3 though I run it into a somewhat better dac. I’ve owned this CD player for quite a while and it is most certainly my favorite player.
