Re: Tinker, Tailor, Streamer, Pi.

Hi Stu, thanks for your remarks. You are absolutely right. I had you and the Doc's principles in mind and used a LT1963A 3-way independent linear regulated power supply board and AC powered it with one R-Core transformer's secondaries. So, on the board are three independent regulators according to t...

Re: Tinker, Tailor, Streamer, Pi.

Hi Fret, thanks for your valuable input on the Allo products. The USBridge Sig is definitely an interesting product to think about. And I do... I will follow, what you will find out about it. :epopc: Regarding the P4 versus 3B+. I'm not sure if higher processing power can be translated into a gain o...

Re: Tinker, Tailor, Streamer, Pi.

Hi Fretless, Number 4) looks interesting to me. I only don't like the USB C power connection Allo is using. Lately, I invested in a dedicated music server based on an Odroid HC1 and an 1TB SSD to store all my music on it. I managed to install Ubuntu server 18.4. and the Logitech Media server softwar...

Re: MC Cartridges

CaterhamKev, I can't help with the AT ART9 as I haven't heard one by now. Seems to be a great cart according to many positive reviews from owners in forums. I do own an AT OC30 from the early 90s (was one below the ART-1 at that time) and it is still sounding very nice. Currently, my personal favori...

Re: NVA Reviews (THIS THREAD IS ONLY FOR STASHING REVIEWS)

TIS Finally, here are my listening impressions of my new TIS interconnect pair (delivered end of October 2019). I compared my TIS interconnect with my SSP Mk2 and also with my DIY silver solid core cable with silver Bullet Plugs. So what did I hear: Although the TIS had no real break-in time when I ...

Happy New Year to you all! Hope, 2020 will treat you nicely… Haven’t been posting for quite a time, so here you go: 2019 ended great for me in audio terms as I acquired a pair of NVA TIS interconnects via the NVA October offer; I can highly recommend this truly amazing interconnect! (More to follow ...

Re: Any news on TIS / TSS cables

Hi Paul,
I'm interested in a pair of 1m TIS at the introductory price of £400.
Just to be sure, my 1m pair of SSP II purchased in Feb. 2019 for £210 (interconnect special Richard offered at that time) would be eligible for trade-in within 30 days at £210 ?
Thanks!
