The building was a goods 'shed' for the North East Railway, which had taken over the local independent 'Clarence' railway in 1854 and was itself absorbed into the LNER Railway in 1923 as part of the 'Big Four' grouping act, before nationalisation in 1948 when British Railways came into being. Yes, Savvy Row is mine. Specialises in vintage Savile Row suits.

We have the original scales built into the floor and one of the original internal doors - I'll dig some photos out for you.

Looks well suited, to me.

I've heard Andy-831's 401 in a split layer slate plinth, and mine is in a composite layer plinth made by Vinyl-Ant. Not sure what yours was in before, Zebbo?
