Really sad to hear this news, condolences to friends and family. Always a pleasure to deal with I found when buying or sorting problems, R.I.P Doc.

Re: The Cube Club
Original wooden Cubettes and now Cube 3 in my system. Not the most expensive speakers I have ever owned but easily my favourites so far. Just wish I had hung on for a bargain on a new style 3 cabinet, £400 is a steal for those. Stands sound interesting considering what acrylic seems to bring to the ...

Re: Hi-Fi Society Blog
Thanks Paul, I generally enjoy reading about bake offs and I would have missed those, don't read other forums much so good to have a ' one stop shop' to refer to. Best of luck, will be checking back to see how it develops!

Re: I am finally at a loss for words.
Will the upgrade option still apply with the bottled farts and will I need to open the window wider?

Re: NVA Reviews (THIS THREAD IS ONLY FOR STASHING REVIEWS)
NVA LS6, NVA SSP and NVA Cube3 speakers. So, having lived with the cables for a long time, and the Cube 3’s for a while less, thought it was time to post a review as promised. All this should be taken in the context of my (fairly modest) system at that time of budget turntable and CD/laptop into a d...

Re: Cubette Mk 2 Review

I have a pair of the mk1 Cubettes and really like what they do but had been considering the new ones, just because I preferred the look and clean lines of the acrylic but it seems it could be a worthwhile jump in quality as well. Only thing is I guess ...

Re: Hi-Fi Shows
Unfortunately I didn't get to this room so can't comment on sound but 3Square Audio were using NVA amps to drive their speakers at the show. Anyone get to hear them?

Re: Hi-Fi Shows
Special mentions to: Guy Sergeant in the Puresound room. Couple of oldies came in for some valves and vinyl and he immediately put some Ska on. They were too shocked to move, faces were a picture  Scott Wainwright, who played some live music and told us a story about how he invented hip-hop on ...

Re: Hi-Fi Shows
I went on Saturday, didn't spend as long there as I normally would due to other commitments but it was an enjoyable few hours. It was good to meet Doc briefly and say hello. I arrived as Rage Against the Machine were in full swing in his room and it was rockin, full of people nodding along. In gener...

Thanks Fretless, that's helpful, will do some more investigation. I will probably come back on this one!
