I have recently mounted cheap Oehlbach silicone feet under a streaming PC, they cancelled out an audible hum produced by the spinning HDD and cooling fans. Not sure if this improved the SQ but it removed an irritation. I do think that audio equipment with moving parts (TT, CDP) should really be as v...

I had been a fan of the Cocteau's since their first LP 'Garlands' but this EP was the point, for me, at which they blew it up into another dimension of pure emotional power.

This is the Wiim Mini clone that I use in the kitchen. Works well over wifi, better SQ than Sonos. Apparently Sonos will be revising the app over the next few months in order to put the missing functions back.

Luckily for me, I took my old-style Sonos Connect units out of use about a year ago. They were restricted to 16bit audio only. No hi-res.

Possible fix for Android is to find an older version on the Web and install that, then disable any automatic update possibilities.
