Re: Powered Cube 1 (Cubix pro head unit)
Wow, that indicates that the P50 is rather good. If anybody is thinking about listening to the pro then I would certainly recommend that they stop thinking and start doing. My only regret is that I did not take any cds of my own. It would have been interesting to hear some music that I know well.

Re: Powered Cube 1 (Cubix pro head unit)
Had my first visit to NVA Towers last night to collect a phono 2 (more on that later). Doc had the first layer of the cubix pros running with his Sony 777 cd player and what looked like a P50 with the mains plugs attached to his BBBMU. I’m no good at reviewing but here goes…… For me, it’s all about ...

Re: Rega Dudes
Ok Doc, so you are in naughty mode today. I own a P9 which might just be the best turntable I have ever owned; it's certainly a lot less of a faff than a LP12. I have recently changed the cartridge from a mm to Rega's own apheta. I have heard the apheta a couple of times on a RP10 and have been impr...

Re: Jessa I luv im....do you.
The guy is a low-rent James Bond wannabe. How many people can hit somebody in the workplace and get away with it. People are turning a blind eye to Jessa's behaviour because they like top gear so much. There is a dangerous parallel between this and Jimmy Savile's public persona. Just to be 100% clea...

Re: The major problem with modern capitalism
NVA has its reputation which creates a value for the brand. If I bought NVA, product quality would immediately fall through the floor and I would have to probably have to hire a few people to keep up with demand because I would not know how to run the business properly. If you change the values of t...

Re: Up and running
Now that the new NVA towers is up and running, can you please advise the address. I have some unused cables I want to return. Apologies if the address is on the portal and I have failed to find.it.

Re: SEBO
Doc, I was not expecting you to say "next week". I am perfectly happy to wait until the Autumn. It also gives me an opportunity to put a few pennies in the hi-fi fund. If I end up staying with the TP I can then have a lp/cd buying spree so it's a win-win situation for me.
