Bristol Show

Some Pictures. Proac room downstairs. Only big room I got an acceptable picture due to people moving around. Only room with Michell Orbe being used. [img src="https://i.postimg.cc/JnDp4DSy/DSC00288.jpg" alt="" style="max-width:100%;"] Elipson Room - decent sound from th...

Re: Priti Patel warned her immigration crackdown will 'cut the legs off' the UK music industry

I am just amazed that anyone can take Boris Johnson and his puppet cabinet seriously. Poor old England.... Well they are the government whether you like it or not. Better than under the last PM where everyone had their own agenda and the country wasn't being run at all. 3.5 years of chaos rather th...

Some people just can't take a joke. Let us know when you crack one and we'll give it a go :guiness; Grime I guess is just not my thing. (Yes I know they are British). Each to their own. I save all my disgust for Phil Collins. We keep getting these ridiculous threads by those who want unlimited migr...

Some people just can't take a joke. Grime I guess is just not my thing. (Yes I know they are British). We keep getting these ridiculous threads by those who want unlimited migration and haven't accepted we just left the EU. Govt are surprisingly doing what the majority voted for for once. I don't se...

Re: Priti Patel warned her immigration crackdown will 'cut the legs off' the UK music industry

Artist touring do not come under immigration. I doubt there is going to be an issue in them getting Visas unless they have a criminal record or are public bigots like that rapper whining about May at the brit awards. Frankly on music grounds I would have sympathy with banning rappers and sending Dav...

Re: Beauty in the eye of the beholder

The problem is the fancy casework is costly so you are not just paying for performance. Also I believe they use switch mode power supplies which is a big turn off for me. When I have heard them at shows have been underwhelmed by the sound for the price tag.

Re: For Sale: Musical Fidelity kW550

The easy answer is to hear them side by side in your own system. That's why we offer a 30 day home trial. Trust your own ears. Classicrock has had a downer on NVA since myself and Tomasz restarted the company. He's had digs at the Cubes, SSP interconnects and now the amps (he hasn't even heard the ...

Re: For Sale: Musical Fidelity kW550

I honestly wouldn't expect NVA to be a significant improvement. Maybe not for you but we are all different and prioritise different aspects of sound reproduction. Anything could happen. One may be better than another, I don't know without a side by side comp, but it won't be night and day. More in ...

Re: For Sale: Musical Fidelity kW550

You might do better with pictures. This is a great amp. I have it's successor MF M6500i ,which is supposed to be an improvement according to Audiogon members, though all solid state. Still very smooth and valve like. I honestly wouldn't expect NVA to be a significant improvement.
