Oh, and NVA Amps are not compatible with subwoofers.
You can connect an active sub to one of the outputs on an NVA passive pre no problem. There is not an issue with compatibility doing it this way.

Re: Cubbets and sub

Try one of these. Not much more or even less than a second hand specialist brand sub. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... le_o04_s00?. Work well with Cubettes and larger cubes.

Re: Bi-wire options

It depends on amp / speaker connections for a start. If you have bi-wire terminals on your amp as well as speakers I would say seperate wires is likely optimum. I have used both methods but never done a direct comparison due to using different amps at different times. I have actually used different ...

Re: Cassettes are Back !!!!

I've bought 2 cassettes recently, 1 in a charity shop and 1 from ebay. Wings - Band On The Run Musical Youth - Youth of Today The Musical Youth cassette sound better to me than either of the vinyl copies that I used to have. I can live with some hiss but vinyl pops a clicks are a no no for me. It d...

They certainly make a wide range of ales. I do know Oundle having formerly lived up that way for many years. Perhaps they could be persuaded to do a Richard Dunn commemoration bitter?

Re: Radford Revival

Nice amp (actually one valve amp I've always fancied) but those Falcon LS3/5A are now a rip off price through dealers. You can buy the parts from Falcon and save a substantial sum. They need to be a damn big improvement on earlier incarnations.

Re: Falcon LS3/5a

Falcon have done an SME. Sold through distributor/retailer and price has risen £1K. Can't believe people will pay £2.3K for an LS3/5A  They aren't the only ones at it. Even the Michell Orbe SE has gone up by £800 in the last 2 years. SME arms up by £600 to over £2K in the same period. No impro...
