Re: UK veto [continued from former forum]

Theresa May was respected by the rest of the EU - Boris is seen as the equivalent of Trump: an unpredictable, unreliable lying idiot who doesn't think before he makes empty promises he can't keep. Per capita, the Netherlands pays far more than the UK. Edit: I will try to ignore this thread from now...

Re: UK veto [continued from former forum]

I believe that a hard Brexit is looking more than likely with BoBo the clown. He will deliver that, and he and his mates will get richer as a result. You can be sure of one thing. Elites will always get richer no matter what the outcome, but the EU has the majority of Elites including the corrupt l...

Re: OCD

I have no OCD tendencies whatever. I'm all over the place, completely disorganised. CDs and LPs are where I last left them, sometimes in the wrong case/sleeve. I can ignore any amount of clutter and mess.

Re: UK veto [continued from former forum]

I have moved from reluctantly accepting the referendum result, to annoyance at the cack-handed way the government has handled the negotiations, to anger at Boris Johnson's obvious and continual lying about Brexit from day one.

Re: Ebay - tell us your nightmares

Not really a nightmare, but I thought I'd bought a pair of speakers (my bid was the one that 'won'). A few days later, I heard from eBay that the seller had withdrawn the item because I hadn't contacted him. In fact, I had contacted him, and had also paid for the speakers via bank transfer. My money...

We've got a call blocker on our phone, mainly because we got pissed of at being rung several times a day by people selling solar panels, PPI insurance claims, 'just a short survey, sir' etc etc.
My method I think is more fun.
My method is less effort, and I'm one lazy bastard.

Re: Scam Warning

Thank you! I keep saying to myself "I'm a doctor, I'm a doctor!', with a big silly grin on my face.

Re: My hifi is a disaster 1 problem at a time .

Which reminds me of the old joke I was told by an engineer. A factory has a major piece of equipment fail, so they call in an engineer. The engineer strokes his chin for a minute, asks for a hammer, and bashes the side of the machine, which immediately starts working again. A week later, the enginee...

Re: Obfuscation and DQ.

Participation in any thread on this forum is entirely optional. And if a thread was started where I was the co-subject, I would be reluctant to participate in it. If I was the co-subject I'd be in like Flynn, meself. What, like a swashbuckling Errol Flynn, swinging from the chandeliers to defeat al...
