Hi Doc,
Am looking for a passive preamp to complete a second system, but ideally want something with 10K input impedance. Could you please advise on the NVA range of passives and their input impedance?

I'm going to though this in to see what response I get. In my office I have the following NVA P80, NVA A30 then a choice of speakers either AR18's JPW Mini Monitor or a Pair of Royd Sorcerer's. Only problem with the Royd's is they may be too big for my little office. So if I can't fit them in I sho...

I switch mine all off, and agree with Jez's sentiments on the matter. The lightbulb analogy is useless when applied to HiFi unless we are talking about fast blow fuses, and the computer / server analogy doesn't consider that servers are more robustly built, are kept in cool rooms and less dusty envi...
