Re: Jerry's ongoing system blog

Now now Jerry, my excuse for ego centric posts, is I was very very drunk. :D Given the understanding your EQ has received, not quite sure your last post is in keeping with the leeway you have hitherto been afforded. p.s well done to Bradley Wiggins , team sky and Dave Brailsford . pps - BBC ...

Sure you can point to areas which seem unreasonable - director gene...

Re: BBC World Service Gear Auction

Whilst there does appear to be an awful lot of equipment [potential waste], to be fair to the BBC i would point out that the world service and Bush House have historically been funded by the foreign office budget, and will be until next year. The change in funding is one reason for the move from Bus...

Re: Is there a way of making my speakers better?

I did the same, but I used 14mm granite breadboards from wilkinsons £10 each. Something identical described are Wilson Benesch stone plinths which are £250 on ebay   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Isolation-Plinths-for-Wilson-Benesch-Krell-Audio-/170872615280?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Speaker_Stands_B...
