Re: Sugden Audio.

I've owned a few number of A21a's. (2000's era model) Never did find them overly lush sounding. Quite almost the total opposite. But never harsh. I like them, decent enough sounding amplifiers.

Did once have the A21a S2. Nice enough amp, which has a slightly warmer tone than the elder A21a.

Sugden Audio.

Sugden was mentioned in another (wrong) thread.

Do some of you on here, like the sound of their 'class a' offerings?

I quite like their A21a. Not a bad amp, IMO.

Re: (in)FAMOUS SLURPS

O for god sake. I use them things for nothing other than keep the unused sockets clean & dust free. Thing is they cost me £1 each https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Neutrik-Dummy-Plug-For-XLRs-Phono-Speakon-Jack-Sockets-Keep-the-Dirt-Out/151386050194?hash=item233f4fce92:m:mcRUpivmrQYMrERsmpMIfwA Thanks...

Re: Grado RS2E

I've tried SR325e. Lets just say, the experience didn't last for more than 10 min.

How do you find the RS2E, compared to it's more affordable bothers?

Grado RS2E

Just recently picked up a set of used Grado RS2E. You can pay anywhere between £260-£320 for used examples. The later made ones has the nicer retro looking brown headband. Lovely sound. The wooden cups adds some weight and warmth to the sound. The presentation is still typical Grado style. But in a ...
