Re: Fane 12-250TC Full Range Speaker

Steve - It is what I have been saying for years, at last some are listening. It applies to all analogue sources as well. The best TT are from then, the best phono stages are simple like amps. The best tape machines were built like brick shite houses in the 1960's. I remember an old EMI built half tr...

I thought the "event" was to show off the Fanes, not an amp bake off - so it had its desired results.

Re: Fane 12-250TC Full Range Speaker

I could have told you that before you started. Big amps do what big amps do, but are not a domestic compromise / solution, I know because I used to make them. Re: BMU and miniBMU

Ask for what you want and I will tailor it on the unit. It has hard wired flying lead in and hard wired flying lead out. I can put what is needed on either end.

Re: NVA and hi-fi shows

The point of doing the shows is I have something to say - when I say it here some listen some don't - I offer it for loan, some try some don't - I am being deliberately blocked from bake-offs - and some people are so far up their arses they wouldn't try it or go out of their way to listen for any re...

Re: BMU and miniBMU

No they are as cheap as hell at ebay, a lot cheaper than the sockets I use on the large BMU, and it is simple well made ones I like - no fuses - no LEDs - no filters. Because it is a standard type mains block you could terminate the wire with what ever you want as there are obviously some daft audio...
