Re: Audio Addicts (ex The Audio Forum)

Westie: I’ve decided to act and ban Rupert. It’s pretty clear by now that it’s not Jsz, despite using an email address that suggested it was. I let it run for a while but it’s starting to grate on other members and it’s detracting from keeping the forum all about the gear. Can we please return to t...

Re: Audio Addicts (ex The Audio Forum)

" No beefs, no personalities and no outside influences." then you will just be talking to yourself because it will be your personality, your beefs, your inside influences that will dominate and set the moderation for the forum, that is what has happened up to now. All you do is create another fiefdo...

Bake-off fail

I note that attendances at bake-offs seem to be dropping. AudioAbattoir have been great at it but they need new blood and new product. Wigwam is dying in every direction. Apart from dedicated AoS events it seems AoS members aren't interested. SOOOOO some of us here are up for joining in, are you UP ...

Re: NVA and hi-fi shows

For design and business I have two hero's William Morris - Arts and Crafts movement (not his politics), and Walter Gropius - Bauhaus simplicity (KISS).

In principle they may seem at odds, but not for me.

Re: NVA and hi-fi shows

THE ARTISAN The artisan movement is great in so many ways. It’s driven by real people and small businesses, and it’s the reason for so many wonderful products across a range of different areas like food, fashion and craft. Artisanal products have also become hugely popular for interior design. Incor...

Re: NVA and hi-fi shows

I repeat it wont be changed - shock tactics, deliberate "in yer face", sorts out the men from the boys, sorts the real people from the knobs, eeediots, slurpers, arse lickers, crooks, musically deaf, egotists, etc It is a state of mind - for example if I see a large advertising budget especially on ...

Re: NVA and hi-fi shows

That is the basis of the NVA ethos *IT WILL NEVER BE CHANGED*. Would you prefer it if I lied just for marketing purposes - you are speaking to the wrong company if you think I will do that. Yes I can be controversial and confrontational but it is designed to make people think, make them see the trut...

Re: BBPSU now listed at ebay

The circuit design makes NVA load rejecting not the power supply. The power supply size just gives you more music with more size, it is not logical for most Tech guys as they say "if a circuit needs this size then that is all it needs" which is why you see wall plug power supplies on the cheap ones,...
