Bake off in Kent

There is confusion about bake-offs. They can be themed and specific about comparing gear, or just bringing new music, or just going to hear the system and having some booze and curry or pizzas. Even when themed it is more about a social event than serious. Though some people take things too seriously as I suffered in a couple of my bake-off. Their equipment wasn't rated so they had to diss the people and the system. The worse one was a guy who trades as Item Audio, he is serious nasty bit of work who Jason fell foul of as well at a different bake-off. So mostly it is better keeping trade people out of it, but I am alright I don't give a toss and if something is better than NVA I say so, which happened at a bake-off that LindsayT and I attended. My amp just didn't seem to like the speakers used for some reason, sounded grey and boring, which is not normal NVA.

Come on move them, you never know what a component sounds like until it is in your own system. It helps listening to other systems but never the same.
